In Newham we have a Borough Partnership where the NHS, local government and providers of health and social care services, including the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector, residents and communities come together to provide a strong understanding of what works well and what is needed by local communities

In the Borough partnership we are able to work to integrate local services across health and care and address the levers to tackle some of the wider things that impact health, such as housing and employment.

Our Newham Borough Partnership Board partners include:

Newham University Hospital (NUH) work closely with our GPs to ensure that when patients need to attend the hospital all the information from our GP practices is in place and ready to support them.  We also seek to ensure that when patients are discharged back home our GPs can support their recovery at home. We work closely with the hospital on their Accident and Emergency and Urgent Treatment Centre providing GPs who work in the hospital to assess and triage patients as they arrive at the hospital.

London Borough of Newham (LBN) work with us on public health initiatives and support the alignment of health and social care.

The East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) provide a wide range of mental health, community health, primary care, wellbeing and inpatient services to young people, working age adults and older adults across the Newham.

We work with Newham HealthWatch and other patient voice organsiations to understand what our residents and patients want and need.  Healthwatch help us to support our Newham residents to contribute to the development of quality health and social care services in Newham.
